A Somatic Rest Experience at Woven Yoga
Sundays, 5:30PM – 4 Weeks – Begins November 22
You spend so much of your life holding it all together. Showing up, getting things done, taking care of everyone else, and pushing through—even when what you really need is a moment to exhale.
What if your practice wasn’t about working harder, stretching further, or becoming a better version of yourself? What if it was about learning to soften your grip on the life you’re already holding?
Nervous System Reset is a somatic-driven experience that invites you to slow down, reconnect with your body, and explore what it feels like to move from doing to simply being.
Drawing on polyvagal theory and nervous-system-informed practices, we’ll use gentle, intuitive movement, mindful breathing, sensory awareness, sound, and supported rest to explore the conditions that can help us feel more settled, present, and connected. You’ll have space to notice your body’s signals, discover what feels supportive, and practice moving between effort and ease without needing to push through or get anything right.
This isn’t a traditional flow class. There are no poses to perfect, no expectations to meet, and no pressure to keep up. Instead, we’ll cultivate a sense of choice, safety, and connection—learning to recognize when we’re holding tension, when we need movement, and when we’re ready to soften into stillness.
Because rest isn’t a reward for finishing everything on your list. It’s a practice of listening to yourself, honoring what you need, and remembering that you don’t have to earn the right to exhale.
You already know how to work hard. This is your space to practice letting go.
